They had everyone wondering what they were going to do right up until the pick.
It would be interesting to hear what type of offers they were offered for the 1st pick. Obviously not good enough.

Reynolds with 2nd round pick. I like the pick if he reports but if it is a waste of a high second rounder then not so much.
If he did report then we would be looking pretty good in a year.
I love following the Quebec reporters. If a Quebec team picks an NCAA player crickets but if The Sea Dogs or another Maritime team does they are all up in arms.

Now Robert Orr in the 5th. He was ranked around 30th. Hey is they can get them to report great but it sounds like Georgie has lost his mind.
If they cant get any of the guys to report he should be fired.

Young after he built up the Sea Dogs. Yes Georgie made the Gauthier, Booth and Bourque trade (everyone in the Q knows that was Flynn and staff setting that up and Georgie in front of the camera taking credit). Since then he just keeps trading talent for future picks, the thing with trading players for picks is you never really look bad in the deal and you continue to sell hope. The Sea dogs need 21 wins this season to combine the last three win total of the 2016/17 team. Veleno put up 100 pts last year and will be back at 19 this year ššš |
