We've put up w enough of this crap.
This team often comes out unprepared. They often get destroyed on the shot board. We have 4th liners playing top 6 minutes so that Drover can rot on the 4th line.
We haven't switched goalies once yet (despite worst gpg).
We are also sub-500 in games we have led.
There is no structure to how we play at all. We are scoring on individual skill.

The clearest was the game against Quebec in SJ. Quebec has the second youngest team in the league but were playing like a team with all 19 yr olds. Guess what? They have a good coach. The Dogs have no systems, lines are being juggled constantly, no stability. They play a good game against Halifax and then lay a stinker the next day, against a team they should be able to beat.

That they keep putting #13 out there regardless of circumstance, when all he does is wave at those he should be defending, coasts around yipping & yapping & banging his stick, please have him be gone. Gerard Gallant would have straightened that Prima Donna out in year one. Now we can only hope they move him at Christmas along with a # 1 pick for a good 19 defense man that can come back next year to a team that still believes he isn’t a lazy floater & has a couple more years in him. Good coaches sit floaters, this coach lets him skip practice & float around. Best for the team & the player to move him along, maybe then he’ll get it..

I agree with you on Drover what a waste having him on the fourth line, Dixon is going to ruin this kid. He puts him out one or two shifts a period and I don’t think he even had a shift in the third last night.

I think the time to have let him go would have been a few weeks ago after the blowout loss against Moncton the same weekend they blew a lead against VD. Given that they haven't let him go already this season, I don't see them firing him just yet as a result of today's game. Before today they've been playing their best hockey of the season and have been improving. Today could be the beginning of the end for him depending on how the next few games go.
Who are the 4th liners getting top 6 minutes? Are you referring to White and Gould? They've been getting Top 6 minutes because they've tasked with shutting down the other team's top line along with Deakin-Poot and have been quite effective at it. If anything I would say that has been one of Dixon's better moves of the season.

And yeah, special teams were a disaster today. The PK has been okay this season and the PP has been one of the team's strengths but they were both a mess today.

It's frustrating being in a tough division but not being able to win games against not so great Quebec teams.

He probably won't be fired any sooner than the Canada vs. Russia game since he's one of the coaches. Regardless of what fans think of his coaching, I hope they will be respectful during the introduction in that game.

If they do then a ast coach from SJ will just take his spot in that game that’s all but your probably right they won’t fire him... my question is who comes in and takes his place though ? Is there a coach out there who can come in and improve this team not asking for a miracle or anything like that but if they do fire him let’s bring in the right coach here not some coach that’s been recycled threw the league already we all know there’s enough of them kicking around. One of the ast coaches ready to take over ? I truly don’t know. But I know at this point of the season they can’t do a long drawn out search .

One of the ast coaches ready to take over ? I truly don’t know. But I know at this point of the season they can’t do a long drawn out search . Exactly. Its early in the hockey season. Most head coaches that are high calibre have jobs somewhere else currently. Anyone we hire now has to be someone who is high calibre because they are going to be the head coach for a couple years at least, meaning they will be running the team for the all important 2021-2022 season where they hope to host and win a Memorial Cup. Can we find a high calibre guy like that right now? If so, they likely would want to bring in their own assistant coaches as well, so is there and entire coaching staff out there available for hiring right now that we'd want running this team for the next Memorial Cup run? I doubt it, but I don't know. I do know if we were going to can any coaches the time to do it would have been when the 2018-2019 season that just went by ended. To me it looks like they decided at that time to go "on the cheap" one more season before paying the big bucks to get some big name guys in here. That decision likely has saved them some $$$$$ but may be costing them in player development and a whole bunch of other areas, which could cost them more $$$$$ down the road than they saved in the present.

I agree with you 100% on this there’s not a whole coaching staff out there right now to come in and take over bc the head coach is going to want there own guys. What names are out there right now that would come in and take over the job until the end of the year? I really don’t know. Does this mean that the dogs have to go with the head coach now until the end of the year? And then risk there player development? It can’t be fun for the players either I imagine. If there are some names out there let’s hear them would love to know . One that comes to mind for me me is Greenwood with Halifax been a ast for a while now does he deserve his shot? I know he’s not high profile and I get it he’s under contract with Halifax but that’s a name that came to my mind let’s hear some more. To get a high profile guy to come in a lot this stage of the season won’t happen in my opinion

Possible coaches available:
Craig McTavish Darren Rumble Paul Boutilier Arno del Curto Jim Midgeley (in Europe but would jump at a chance to come home)
