My guess... From Rimouski, Innis will be trade in june against the first pick (to complete Guay and Durocher trade) Youu would be correct, he is heading to SJ. With Innis coming to SJ, I'm assuming they will a new Euro to upgrade on Lehmus. Probably a forward.

I do wonder what pick will be going back for Innins. Also if they decide to release/trade/keep Lehmus. He is still young, but will be interesting to see if they can bring a better/more impactful Euro.

Spadafore will be 20 tough call on keeping him. We also have Kakouras, Cliche from recent drafts. Unfortunately I'd say Lehmus might be the odd man out. I'd rather have another 17/18 Euro forward for our run.

I can't see Spadafore being back next season. Right now I consider him our 4th best 2000 born player, and that's only counting the guys currently on the roster. All of the other D are eligible to return. We're losing 2 good forwards and 1 good goalie. I think we'll either want to use the 20 spots on 2 forwards and a goalie again or 3 forwards, depending on how things go with Patenaude, which right now looks pretty promising.
When I learned Sibley was rejoining the team and of the apparent acquisition of Innis for next season, my initial thought was that Lehmus would not be back next year. But I'm not entirely sold on that anymore. Sibley has barely been used since returning and doesn't appear to be considered very high on the depth chart. Not to mention I've come to appreciate Lehmus' game more. I think of all our 17 year old D, he's one of the better ones defensively and has also shown some decent offensive skills that have resulted in a ton of points. Lehmus' age is also a better fit for our cycle than a first year eligible import. We could still trade for one of the same age or try to find one that's undrafted but it makes things more difficult.
So I can see our top 6 D next year being the same except Innis replaces Spadafore and everyone else is a year older, which should be much improved from this year, especially if a true D coach is also added. Poirier, and to a lesser extent some of the others, could miss some time next season for other opportunities so if Sibley isn't traded he should get more opportunity to play.
