I was wondering if it might be NDP since he hasn't played in a week and maybe his injury was BS. That of course likely would have meant we'd get a roster player in return. Definitley looks like it's Guay though. Was really hoping we'd keep all our stars. We've already sold off enough assets to build for the future. Really hope it's a nice return. |

Inniss would always have been my target for a future, even if it ends up being Guay+ for Durocher and Inniss in the end.

That's arguable because Barron probably is more highly regarded. Did Innis even get picked in the NHL draft last year? (I don't know if he did or didnt) There are a few decent ones though with Ortiz and Guenette in the mix although at Val's point in the cycle, Guenette is pretty much sticking there. Pelletier is a solid option too. 2001 was a good year for D. |
