Maybe Rimouski want that for another deal. And ties in to a major 19 year old going back to SJ.

So basically it comes down to Guay for Durocher, 2nd with most likely the 2nd going back for a 19 yr old at the draft
I hope it's not the rd.1 2022 going back for the 19 yr D. That would make it a bad trade.

Wonder why they used the rd.1 2020 (SNB) and not the rd.1 2020 (DRU). Do they think DRU is gonna drop in the standings and SNB is gonna pass them?

Maybe Rimouski want that for another deal. And ties in to a major 19 year old going back to SJ. Defensemen Inniss and Massicotte are the only two options for a 19 yo. Others are depth players. |

Anyway, it was mentioned on twitter that the 2022 1st will be more valuable when Saint John goes for it in a couple years... interesting point. |

This will be a good deal if Durocher can come in and play well, put up some points, and we get a good 19 year old at the draft.
On top of that the 2022 first round pick will be good trade bait to get some deals done either in 21 or 22.
