Draft is set but we still don’t know when the season will start so I expect a pretty boring draft when it comes to trades. JH probably waits and sees when the season will start before picking a direction to head in.

We know right away we have to replace Welsh, Clavelle, Crossman and most likely Alexandrov.
That leaves us with 5 guys fight for 3 overage spots. So we are probably looking at 5 new skaters on the team and a new goalie. In my opinion our overagers will be Casey, desruisseaux and either Peyton or Edwards, whoever shows better in camp.

What about Colton Ellis as a OA goalie? Do you really think they will be looking for an OA netminder? I don't see it. They'll find someone to push Goobie some.....but it won't be a 20. It's hard to even think about "plans" when lord knows when there will even be any hockey. Feel bad for the players......the "prospects" ala Goobie, Plandowski, Cormier, Trudeau, Gill.......I feel for the whole team missing a big chunk, if not all of this season. Possibly taking a whole year of their Jr career away |

When is the exact date for the draft? I really don’t expectMuch action in terms of moves can’t see teams making the all in moves likes other years knowing there’s a chance the season may be cancelled altogether.

I definitely wouldn't count out either one of those players playing here. Unsure about other Provinces...... but the hockey "buzz" around here is pretty low. But back to the topic, yes, i could see Greene here.....as well as Vardy |
