Why do you keep talking in circles and ignoring key points? NOT EVERYONE WHO HAS THIS KNOW THEY HAVE IT. That trucker example....he might not know he has it. And not 100% of people coming in have to isolate. People can follow the rules and bring it in. Why can't someone in a care home catch it after restrictions are lifted and start another spread at a family function? You can't catch it out of the blue, it has to be transferred. Truckers are obviously not spreading anything, there are virtually no cases in Nb and PEI and I'm sure there are 10k trucks going in and out of each province in a week. Not even sure if you're even being serious at this point with a reply like this. It has to be transferred. I think it's safe to say we all know that. But you "obviously" know WHO is tranferring it? Based on the fact there's no new cases? You have to be just be being a moron on purpose with this. And as usual ignore most of the content every single one of us keep telling you. You do know you're coming off as a Trump supporter in terms of completely ignoring the reality everyone is painting you with this, right? Or is that your motive here? Either way i'm done with it.

The important part is identifying who and where it is. Random people should not have it if those affected are isolated. those in care homes with a lot of sick people can't socialize, most don't even go to the grocery store. And if you didn't know - there are still planes coming over from Europe bringing Canadians home. Who's to say they don't have the virus? Who's to say they are going to follow the rules and self-isolate for 14 days?
You really should quit talking about subjects you don't have a clue about.
People from away are screened at the airport and are are advised to self quarantine for 14 days. Sure people could chose to ignore but other countries are reopening that were hard hit in Feb and March.

I'm not here to argue with anyone. But I think it's important to point out that saying there are virtually no cases in NB isn't necessarily accurate because not everyone is being tested. So yes the case number is very low but it's very possible we have active cases that decided to stay home instead of going to the doctor, maybe even mild cases who don't realize they have it.

Other countries, who got it a month before us, are returning to semi normalcy already. To say that there will be no sporting event for 18 months at this point is dumb, especially for Canada. The Us is another story entirely.

True, but there are not clusters of 100 people who have it but never went to the hospital. If anything it's a couple of cases and those people are better.

They are not there yet, but they just started reopening last week or so. Nb is opening parks and golf courses.

I can appreciate you being optimistic. But realistically even if/when things are all clear the last things to open up will be Sports/Conventions. I would anticipate they would give a 2-3 month or more buffer before packing people in together again. Events across Canada are being cancelled as far out as July as we speak. I would guess sometime around July 1 we will re-visit the status and start looking ahead to fall/winter planning.
Side Note, Golf Course are opening but have very limited restrictions.

Yep basically the only sport you can play while socially distancing And Calgary cancelled all city events until Sep 1

If the QMJHL plays in the fall of 2020, thinking it's safe to do so because there hasn't been a 2nd wave, that would almost certainly be the cause of the 2nd wave and could potentially be much worse than the first.
A shortened season starting in 2021 is likely the best we can hope for.

Has there been any consideration to the fact that some of your star 2000 born players might not have another league to play in next season and could be back in the Q as 20s if the Q has a shortened season?

A shortened season starting in 2021 is likely the best we can hope for. There will not be any Major Junior hockey in NB in the fall of 2020. NB has already said no festivals or gatherings until Dec 31 2020 (unless things change significantly). Quebec and NS are worse off - so I expect their government will impose the same restrictions. Governments aren't making these decisions without first consulting with the federal and other provincial governments about their own future plans.
