Personally I feel like Sam Oliver is close to untouchable. I know if I were Jim Hulton it would take a guy like Xavier Simoneau or like, Patrick Guay to start that conversation.
Edit-
That said, wouldn't it be fun to see if Peach and Francis can re-ignite some of that chemistry they had in midget XD? Bring in Liam Kidney in the deal and just put the line back together lol.

Looking at the roster in the Islanders site Drew Johnston has been removed not sure if that’s a typo or not. nice catch i'd say he would be in tough to stay in the lineup with the addition of Peach...... too bad had high hopes for the kid but might just be better off in junior A hopefully they trade his rights for a pick anyhow Drew Johnston is available to the other 17 teams in the QMJHL for “free”.

Correct. Drew has been outright released by the Islanders. He has already been contact by former ISLES assistant coach, Brad MacKenzie, who is head coach of the Grand Falls Rapids of the MHL.

WHL is gonna play a short season but they announced tonight a commitment to play a season. Wonder if there still May be a memorial cup? If the Islanders just stay with what we have now and don’t commit to going all in because of the uncertainty looking at what can be back next year I think this team has potential to be really good. The D core will be absolutely scary and we have some nice picks like Drummondvilles 1st we could trade for a star forward and possibly Plandowski and Gill and futures. Here’s a look at what could be a rough lineup for next year. Forwards Budgell Peach Gill Gallant Boyd Leblanc Oliver Elliott Brabanc (?) Mensik(?) Defense Laaouan Cormier Plandowski Trudeau Maynard And Goobie in goal to me that is a strong foundation maybe thin up front but should be balanced not sure if we have any prospects in the ranks that can jump right in at 17 or 18 but if we can start the year next year off with this lineup plus a couple trades for forwards and a 19 year old back up we may be in for a treat to watch all season. The WHL does not really have a start date as of yet. The league itself has a schedule, but no OK from the All of the GOVS needed. Also, the logistics of the WHL are a little more difficult then the Q . 5 U.S. based teams make things a little more difficult.

I am a little confused. I would say as it stands now, odds of Memorial Cup being played, are at best, 50-50. And that;s generous. Some of these big deals must have an out for teams trading away pics, such as Valdor. Will deal be voided if season doesn't resume? OHL has no start date. Hosting the Memorial Cup would be easier to pull off than the WJC. It can be done in a bubble as well. The problem is getting the OHL to start the season, which seems less than 50-50. Also, who wants to take on the expense of hosting the Mem Cup when you probably can't have fans, and you'll have upfront costs you may never recoup if it never happens. I doubt Rogers is interested in paying for the whole thing since they'll have NHL underway (we think). TSN might be willing to take it on.

lots of chatter that could involve the Isles and Sherbrooke again hooking up for a deal
really don't see the need to go all in this year with so much uncertainty but it is what it is i suppose

From a couple people i message and get info from it seems the Sea Dogs are the team going to make a big move with Sherbrooke. Islanders will be very quiet I think. With our small market they probably can’t risk making a block buster with the uncertainty around the start up.

I could see something around these two names making some sense. Sherbrooke wants to get younger and Guay could be still be around as a 20 in 2 years.

Xavier Parent would make sense too honestly. They have 2 2001's who are good enough to be back as 20's. They need a 3rd.
Parent brings Memorial cup experience as well. Just a thought.
