Anyone know why Jeff Cowan hasn’t been around during camp? No one knows. It might be that he's the staff member that can't be vaccinated. Or he could be gone.

Are SeaDogs games broadcasting on YouTube like Charlottetown?

It's never a bad thing when the kids competing for the last couple of spots in the lineup are 1-2-3 ,in scoring.

Keeping him on the team I'd want them to commit to giving the kid third line ice time. Being on the fourth line and healthy scratched is not going to help the kid develop or increase any trade value at all. It would be better for Elie, and for SJSD, if they sent him down a level to get more meaningful ice time, if we're not going to commit to playing him in the top 9.

In a perfect world, he plays with 2 of Sapelnikov, Savoie and MacDonald imo.

I'm surprised to see Elie cut early. I wouldn't have wanted to see him as a healthy scratch most nights but would have been fine with him playing on the 4th line at 16, assuming Dwyer actually plays 4 lines and Elie isn't wasted like Carruthers was last season.
Also very surprised to see Shingarov cut at this point. He appears to be #3 to me but in a position to challenge Patenaude for the #2 spot.

Fwiw, the 16s got little time in midget last year. A full season would be helpful.
Shingarov likely has to register for Cegep soon.
The only 16s left are the nb ones that can be sent down when their camps open.

Assuming that i am not reading too much in Cam playing wing and that Sapelnikov starts lower in the lineup until he gets acclimated, we could roll something like:
MacDonald - Reynolds - Francis Burns - Lawrence - Dufour Sapelnikov - Savoie - Bezeau Mccluskey - Laforge - Watt ?
Drapeau - Inniss Poirier - Despont Villeneuve - Desroches Roode/Casey/Gartley
Lemieux Patenaude

Absolutely love this deal. If he improves on the draw, he Mccluskey and Bezeau could bring some serious snarl to the ice. If not, we'll have to rotate around the guys we have.
