Is it safe to assume the Cats weren't offered a 1st rnd pick in any deals and that's why no other players were moved? I think that the Sea Dogs and other teams that bought today, really just got better players. Bathurst did their shopping early, Charlottetown got better forwards then what Moncton had to offer. Shawinigan got their guys early on but didn’t really do anything drastic, Sherbrooke stood pat for the most part, certainly not a team buying. Gatineau upgraded an OA but did nothing else. Quebec did some minor tweaking. When you have 8-10 teams trying to sell and really only 3 teams that did any amount of buying and they got better players, you don’t really have much of a market. There’s 1 desperate team in the league and they bought huge, got some solid players from you guys but the other teams either didn’t seem interested in buying or wouldn’t pay the price. COVID may have played into some of this but there’s really only 3 teams that appear willing to buy big this year. Tough spot for sellers to be in.
