Does anyone know whether Cornforth being named to the US’s 5 nations team affects his plans to come to training camp? It seems like the tournament should be over by August 13th, so he should still be able to make it. Although with NCAA leaning type guys you never know if having these back to back could make him change his mind on training camp. I was told a couple days ago he still plans on coming to camp. |

Kiefer Lyons will be at camp on loan from Cape Breton.
Gio DiMattia will be at camp with the Eagles on loan.

Kiefer Lyons will be at camp on loan from Cape Breton. Gio DiMattia will be at camp with the Eagles on loan. Lyons might be a good add, has the size and was a scorer in MAAA. That seems to give Steinman the inside track on the back up spot. |

Tristan Sanchez is also at Eagles camp. I assume by this point he's a free agent?

Yes, I think if you are unsigned at 18 you become a free agent. Could be mistake and perhaps a similar scenario to Dimattia and Lyons where they are on loan. If the Eagles wants him a trade is worked out after.

Size aside, that might be the least impressive elite prospects page I have ever seen. Usually you look at a kids page and he at least had a good season or playoff run at some level. |
