2nd in pts by defenceman in U18 AAA. Hopefully he can join the team when playoffs are done and get a couple of games in. Crazy to think him & Morin could end up pairing together the next 3 seasons if they go that route.

Baillargeon has 12 pts in 6 playoff games in u18 after putting up 31 pts in 36 regular season games.
Mercier is contributing as a top 6 player at 16, often reminding me of Jakob Pelletier. The last few weeks he's been a different player, out working almost everybody on the ice.
Morin is the best defenceman on the team most nights as a 16 year old.
Sarassin works his ass off and has some nice skill to go with it, probably projects to be a solid 3rd liner.
Grenier looks like he'll be a nice offensive defenceman in his limited play so far. Fitting he's wearing 21.
Then you have Loshing who should be a star in this league at 19 if he can stay healthy.
Fillon has been much improved since getting lots of action after the last covid break.
Don't want to inject too much hopium on here but the future looks a lot brighter than it did 12 months ago.
You also have other guys like Iasenza who should be a solid 4-5 guy and if Casey can stay healthy will fill a role as well.
They'll likely need to add some size at forward over the next couple seasons though.

Especially Taibel, he works hard but very little offense.

BAILLARGEON's team (Magog) has made the QU18 AAA finals so it seems unlikely we'll get to see him suit up for a game, unless its the last regular season game if they get eliminated. He's putting up some huge numbers in the playoffs
14 Games - 26 pts (13g, 13a), leading the entire league in points, goals & PPG.

Looking ahead to the Q Draft:
If no trades are made, Moncton's first 5 picks will be 22-25-40-43-53.

Lounsbury had a strong first game at the Telus Cup with 2 goals.
Baillargeon and Magog and playing now.
