Patty Guay going to Armada for 3 3rds and 2 4ths. It looks like we get an extra 3rd back in the Roy deal to complete it at:
Zac Roy+3rd for Patty Guay

The price you pay to try and win sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t Absolutely didn’t. Sets the bad trade Precedent in Hultons tenure. Is what it is.

Why do you say that No one knew Guay would have a season he did, it sucks big time for sure but you can’t be right 100% of the time.

Take a look at some of the seadogs trades and you won't think the return for Guay was bad.

The greatest GMs out there have swung and missed. We still have Roy that we can move at some point this year. If this ends up being his worst trade during his time here, he did pretty good.

No one could predict that Roy would have a major knee injury in what? one of this first home games as an Islander. Who knows what could have happened if he had the time to adjust, he was heating up there a bit at the end.
It's unfortunate that the trade didn't work as they saw it going or hoped it would go, but that's how these things go sometimes.
Certainly not going to blame Hulton for this.

That would've been the Victoriaville game. We lost multiple players that game.

The guy scores 50+ goals and you don't get a single 1st or even 2nd round pick for him. Absolutely brutal.

Yes it sucks but Hulton never made this deal yesterday it was made 7 months ago.. it sticks but I understand it.. BLB had no intentions of trading Roy so Jim had to pay the piper to get him
