Just hoping Crickard, Lee and whoever else they bring in can get the most out of this group so we are not the door mat for the league for the next couple of years. Even if they lose more than they win as long as they work hard and are competitive. One big thing for me is that we need enough invites to try to find some depth. I haven't seen any of camp, but I heard a rumor that there may be guys on the ice that aren't on the roster posted previously and that the Q hasn't posted to our roster yet. |

I think we started the year with these OA plyers: PA Bureau Dominic Soucy Michel Charette We traded for Charette in the summer….he had played in the league but was in Jr. A as a 19 y/o. We were very thin on D as in the 03-04 season we had 3 20’s on D plus a Euro who didn’t return. It was probably down to Soucy, Lee, and Laniel in the last spot. Soucy was a big, physical guy who was awesome in the playoffs the previous year but also could disappear for long stretches. They actually brought back Laniel to play D when it was clear Charette was not a good option. I always liked Lee. He improved a ton in his 19 y/o season as he got used to the league. Under Hulton, you have to think a guy like Lee would be a great option as a 20 (like Kieran Gallant). totally agree have to think if Hulton was in charge back then Lee would have been an overager i can't totally recall that year but was that not the year we wound up using Fabien Laniel as a converted dman as our third overager? Looks like they have invited a few kids from Ontario that are not on the original Roster. Be nice if a couple of them can win some spots and be good players for them.
