That's a weird one. Refs realize that Charlottetown has no doctor present and halt the game. Surprised it took them 3 min in to the game to realize. The doctors are supposed to meet with the officials 45 minutes before the game to confirm they are there. There was a delay at the beginning for the same reason. |

Keeping in mind that camp isn't over and that I haven't seen every practice (and sure as heck am not a professional), I think we could run something like:
Simek - Reynolds - Reinhart
Benoit - Mateiko - Elie
Cloutier - Beveridge - Bellemare
Akkouche - Pierre-Noel - Beaudry
Calder
Ianniello - Gauthier
Bilodeau - Tivey
Richard - Dassylva
?
Brideau
Girard/Robinson
Monaco?
I think Beaulieu is in extremely tough to win his spot. Bellemare, Beaudry and Calder have all shown more in camp and are the same age. On D, that last spot could be anyone, but part of me is starting to wonder if management thinks that they can develop Warren, that could be a spot for him. At the same time, we could keep one of the 16s and rotate them.
In nets, I think we will have to make a call on Girard/Robinson soon (I think they are both subject to CEGEP). Monaco we could make a decision on later, but I wouldn't hate 3G with the team that we have.

This makes a lot more sense than the original rumor of Mann going to Moncton. Mann will likely have a spot in the top-4 in Saint John, or at least a shot at it. Honestly, I haven't really seen him play since his 15 year old season. |

I can't fathom us not making a deal on D. Running with 2 20s, 3 19s, and an 18 for a top 6 seems silly at this point.
Up front, I'd like to see one more body, but they could do that via recall.

Agree. There might be a deal in place already to trade someone. I would think in a rebuild you would want to give some 06/07 a chance to play in the league. The big question is there any value in the older D for a trade?

Bilodeau to Drummondville or Chicoutimi would make a ton of sense (leave the older D to help younger D come in). Richard could play 3rd pair with Cosman at 17, with the 16s pushing in next year (or at Christmas if there is a trade). Right now, our 03 and 04 are more valuable to us. |
