any predictions ? Steinman gets the start IMO . Looks like a 2-3-2 format , still not used to that format, after watching OHL for 10 years . if you lose 1 home game at the start it would be to the visitor's team advantage IMO . Thoughts ?
GO CATS !

GO CATS ! Yeah, 2-3-2 is not great for the favorite. Unless you sweep the first 2, you have to go win 2/3 on the road or you come back down 3-2.

What's everyone's predictions on forward lines tomorrow assuming everyone is good to go except Lounsbury. If I'm not mistaken, he's the only one that's been confirmed out.
I had a hard time predicting the lines because Lacroix seems unsure of the lines himself.

yeah was wondering about the lines also, one game i went and they had moved barbashev with beaudoin and they looked good together , but loshing and labelle need someone with some size on that line and they have to be able to keep up

The other 2 offensive lines should be able to carry the play with guys like Beaudoin, Loshing, Labelle, Barbashev & Mercier. BC has a bigger defense that plays rough so using the speed of those guys will be key. If the team that played against the Eagles on Sunday shows up they should be able to win no problems. If the team from a few months ago shows up then things could get ugly fast. I find this team tends to fold quite easily if they give up a few quick goals to the opposition. Beaudoin has been on a tear as of late, 23 pts in his last 12 games, more like the guy we saw in the fall. This is the time when they hopefully get their moneys worth from what they paid with all his valuable playoff experience.

Is everyone available except Lounsbury? Mercier took a big hit last game and left Only Lounsbury out, Mercier & Mueller are back. Interestingly enough Sampson is drawing in over McPhee. Perhaps just wanting to get him some experience but also BC is a team with size (13 skaters 6" or taller). They probably want that 4th line to play a bang and crash style who can chip in here and there on offense. Loshing / Labelle / Barbashev Trenholm / Taibel / Daniel Mueller / Beaudoin / Mercier Smith / Sampson / Auger

I’d prefer it if Grenier wasn’t a healthy scratch. He’s supposed to be an important part of our D core moving forward

Absolutely he is and can be when he wants to and I expect more of that from him in the playoffs. He's involved in scrums more than almost any other player on the team.
