Draft lottery is Wednesday night at 7:30pm on RDS.
Here are our picks as per Billy in the pick thread.
Moncton via Val d'Or's pick has a 28% chance at picking first. That pick is 4th overall at worst. If the Moncton trend continues they will pick third.

If moncton wants to have a good team next year, I would trade a 1st for an impact forward, not everyone likes that idea but with barbashev , labelle and beaudoin leaving plus hamel , not sure where their offence will come from ? just my opinion

If moncton wants to have a good team next year, I would trade a 1st for an impact forward, not everyone likes that idea but with barbashev , labelle and beaudoin leaving plus hamel , not sure where their offence will come from ? just my opinion They are looking at 2025 Memorial Cup, i would not waste a 1st round pick unless it was an established very good 18 year old forward. |

If the 18th seeded team is not drawn either first or second, it will automatically be awarded the third overall selection. Moreover, the team holding 17th place selection (Moncton Wildcats) will not be picking later than fourth overall.

I read that tonight on RDS at 7:30 the draft will be on tv . I don't get that channel , do you think it will be on the wildcats site or on youtube ? any info appreciated

Another Desnoyer in Moncton? Maybe  Maybe they'll even make a big trade with Halifax next year and Caleb Desnoyers will end up in Halifax as a future too XD But in all seriousness, congrats to the Cats here, that's a big win for the organization. |
