Any news on the status for the SeaDogs next season?. I have not heard anything about their future other than rink rumours that they may not be back.

Their lease agreement is up at the end of the season. I think they will get a new favorable lease given the new management company can't have the building empty in only their second year of managing the facility. |

Regarding the rumours that they may not be back (I've heard since 2012 that Scott McCain is selling the team - for some reason, Saint John'ers don't like seeing someone succeed); Mr McCain is a businessman first and foremost. He is not just going to give up the team and disband them and get nothing for his investment (like Lewiston). He will sell the team. The league will not allow a market like Saint John to leave their league. |
