Time for this team to get younger I dont mind losing but I want to do it with young guys who will learn and get better I'm done with the LaForge Akouche Benoit Noel these guys are 19 and play bottom 6 bring in 16 and 17 yr olds.

I agree I would rather watch a team build for the future getting young players ice time instead of watching the team keep playing their top players when down by 4. The only way the 16 & 17 get better is to play more at this level. This will help them build confidence knowing they can play at this level. |

I agree 100% with you, I would also give more games to Robinson he’s going to be our # 1 next year, I’m not a goalie expert but never seen a goalie out of position like Leaver. Same for our PP what is Tivey doing on our PP1 he’s solide defensively but why are we not playing Bilodeau while Ianiello is out. We dont have a lot of younger players to play. I dont mind having the offensive players, but I would like to see Beveridge in that top 6. I liked Pierre-Noel and Akkouche together, but didn't think Bellemare fit.
Maybe something like:
Simek - Reynolds - Mateiko
Beveridge - Elie - Reinhart
Akkouche - Pierre-Noel - Beaulieu
Calder - Bellemare - Laforge/Benoit

If you are in a rebuild you have to let the young players play and see if they can play in this league. I understand playing to win but when you are down by 3 or 4 and you run the same F&D that makes no sense. Look at Calder he starts getting more ice time which boost his confidence and he starts to look like he can play in the league. You need to do that with other guys and see what they can do. If they can’t do it move them out but give them a fair shot first!

I would like to see O'Blenis called up to see if he could be a player, but otherwise we don't have a whole lot of young guys up front (limited picks the last few drafts). On D, I'd like to see Richard back with a spot opened up. |

I look forward to seeing what Beveridge can do on the top line so I hope you're right about that. If Mann wasn't out then I'd consider playing Ianniello somewhere on the top 2 forward lines. The Sea Dogs have had trouble scoring the last couple of games after scoring with relative ease for a few games before that. Mateiko being gone won't help so it's good to get those guys back. |

Darien Reynolds appears to have signed with the Sea Dogs. Definitely some positives in Reynolds' game. It will take him a bit to adjust to the speed from a timing point of view. |

What do you guys think Reynolds and Mateiko are worth im thinking a 1st for Reynolds and a 1st and a player for Mateiko since he's only 18 thoughts.
