What do you guys think Reynolds and Mateiko are worth im thinking a 1st for Reynolds and a 1st and a player for Mateiko since he's only 18 thoughts. I dont think you are far off. There isn't a whole lot of depth to the non-OA crowd for fw, with only Fauchon and Minville being clear upgrades on Mateiko and Elie. For OA, Reynolds has put the team on his back and is in the Mianscum tier of OA. SJ needs to get younger, and trading these guys would hurt, but it's possible that we can make the playoffs and sell. |

If we trade Reynolds its a half year for a top 6 centre. The 2 euros are tough do we trade them now and get more value and draft 2 new players or do wait till the draft and trade them them.

It will be a lot easier to part ways with one of the current imports if we have a quality 2007 born player lined up for next summer's draft.

Would Glas , Sampson , 2nd + 3rd for Mateiko be enough ? I really don’t see Glas or Sampson having any value in a trade. They’re throw ins. So I don’t think a 2nd and 3rd is enough for Mateiko, if it was, he’d already be dealt IMO. |

No one knows what Reynolds NTC looks like or any other Sea Dogs AFAIK, but there have been suggestions on these boards that Halifax doesn't offer NTCs for the 20 year-old year. That being said, I think what Reynolds wants will play into whether he goes anyway. |

He’s buried by depth in Moncton s lineup and needs to be playing everynight. |

I like the position SJ is in.
The team has 2 1sts this year and 1 next, so they could theoretically not move anyone and develop players while keeping the higher end guys.
SJ could sell 1-2 players and be done.
Or SJ could move a few guys and get younger.
Also, Darien Reynolds looks like a heck of a pickup. He has two fairly cheap points, but he's done some nice things, clearly has some skill and he brings size.

We are seeing nice things last couple of games, we are probably seeing some players for the last time in a Seadogs jersey tonight rumours around the ligue saying Tivey won’t be with SNB after Christmas break. I also hope Armada trades away a couple of players and drop in the standings so we get earlier pick in the 1st round. Enjoy the holidays everyone. I like the position SJ is in. I really like Kilfoil Halifax needs to upgrade their 20s and import we have both and picks so I think a trade could work.
