this would be super cool, the KC Irving is a pretty decent sized rink as well but not sure the league approves this.

usually these would be ways for the team to explain to fans their plan and everything moving forward but usually the GM would be involved to take questions and such. This seems different.
Could be a plan to bring more people to the games? I'm not sure.
overall I hope whatever this is helps because this team is set up super nicely for the future.

The draft is a good guess..

Believe it's something to do with "the future of the Titan". Was posted my someone on the french boards but I've also heard it elsewhere too.

Looking back, the host for the 2023 draft was announced in December 2022, while last year was July for 2024 so it wouldn’t be shocking if it was indeed the draft

It'd be bit early to announce the draft, but its notable that the titan own 3 1st round picks in 2025 with a minimum of 1 of those picks being in lottery contention (GAT). I don't see VDO jumping too high in the standings either.

would love it if it's the draft. The press conference is only an hour long as well too so can't be a bunch of questions and such I'd imagine.

I think Bathurst has only held the draft once, correct?

The Mayor wouldn't be there if the city wasn't involved. My guess is that the city will acquire the full rights to the team, or a majority stake.

Not looking to start rumours or speculation, it's simply a question. IF it was relocation, would they do a press conference in Bathurst with the mayor and commissioner, or would that be handled differently?
And given rumours going on for years and the attendance the last while, I think it is a fair question to ask.

And given rumours going on for years and the attendance the last while, I think it is a fair question to ask. Mayor and commissioner means its a positive. Those people don't show up to tell people bad things. Relocation wouldn't be done with a smile from the commissioner and shaking hands with the mayor. It may not be announced until the season is over in most cases.
