Is MacDougall bringing along any of his assistant coaches from UNB? I know the associate coach at UNB is likely to be the new head coach at UNB, but I think he had another assistant coach as well.
I think it’s time to move on from Hepditch.

Personally I think hepditch is along for the ride this year, helps his case that the best games they realistically played this year ended up being when he was the head coach

That’s also likely true and it’s also a good reason for gardiner to want him to stay

Hepditch has been an assistant since 2017 (minus half a season when Torchetti was coach - by far Moncton’s best team). I think he’ll hang on until Moncton doesn’t want him. Irving must love him because it’s amazing that he’s survived two other head coaches being fired (Rumble and Lacroix) and has avoided being fired himself.

I also wouldn’t be shocked if he didn’t end up taking over when gardiner is done.

Kevin Barrett seemed to suggest that all signs at the press conference yesterday pointed to Rob Hennigar being promoted ... Maybe Hepditch would be in line for Hennigar's old job?

Now that it is official, can't think of a bigger off season addition the Cats could have made. Will be interesting to see what they have up their sleeve for player moves in the coming weeks.

Vidicek and Mackinnon incoming That, we already know! Irving said during the press conference this morning that he will "put on a show at draft day" so in addition to the Vidicek/MacKinnon trade we should expect another trade to get a first round draft pick. I'll let you guess the player that will be "sacrificed" for either of those trades...

I guess I could see Collard or maybe Smith moved? not sure who else could potentially net us a first unless it involves moving up with other picks
