Hard to imagine any of these invites have a chance at making it, but sometimes you can turn these camp invites and late draft picks into assets. Last year they flipped Dumais who was an 11th round pick for a 5th in 2026, and Parent who was an invite for a 10th.

Wouldn’t be surprised if hayne and schlender make the team as well I edited my post cause I fully expect us to pick up a euro forward if AK does not report and I think we’ll see from free agent additions as welll which might not leave room for both. I thought Hayne played well last season and has the upper hand between the two but you never know once training camp rolls around

Based on the comments, I fully expect Kiviharju to stay in Finland and that Moncton will be trading for another Euro. I think the obvious answer is Mateiko. He’d give Moncton a very strong top 9.

I’m just going to throw this out there. Vidicek and Sprynar have a little chemistry, and if an upgrade at goal is needed I can see a Sprynar Rousseau combo maybe happening.

I think Moncton will go with their current lineup and see how things go before making anymore deals , there are rumors about Mateiko . I'm wondering about line combo's, I know they will change a bit but thoughts about possible combo's. I see Vidicek is listed as a center , did he play center in halifax ? I would put him with Collard and Lounsbury depending if he plays center , keep last years line of mercier, loshing and Desnoyers together. Sumpf could be second line center but will work good on third line also.

Maybe he comes at mid season after the world juniors … wouldn’t be unheard of if his ice time / development in first half is not going to his NHL team’s liking.

It’s the only reason I can think since we made room to make the 2 picks
