When you have very little draft stock like the Islanders it also really hurts when your GM fumbles the euro picks like he has the last 2 or 3 years. The last 2 drafts we were in a position to draft good euros and fumble every pick. Voyaga is ok but not what a euro should be hes just a depth D man on a bad team. If Radovoivjc is a no show after the Maruna failed pick it’s time to start wondering if the staff are actually doing their job. I’ve been a Hulton supporter for his whole tenure but at the end of the day this is year 3 of his rebuild and we have no picks and very little as far as assets to make us better.. I thought this team would be decent this year but this could be the worst season yet. When does Hulton get out on the hot seat? Hulton hits on the regular draft though. Kearsey and Conrad were great picks and many more over the years. Euros are really hit and miss look at lars Steiner 3gp 11pts not sure if anyone thought he would do that. As for assets i think this team actually has many Kearsey and Conrad could be flipped for 4 1sts combined 2 of the 4 firsts being very high valued those two are really good and young. It will be a long a rebuild if this is the route the islanders take but it looks like the best route for them. Hulton really pushed all his chips in the middle the year the islanders lost to Shawinigan and the islanders are only climbing over that hump now. Still basically a whole year left islanders will be a good middle of the pack team this year.

Euro’s are a crap shoot in general…back 6-7 years ago, they were the top players in the league…the majority of them were dominant players. These days, there’s maybe a few that are among the top of the league. Look at Repcik for example…played in the WHL (or was it the O?), came to Cape Breton, then to the Island…and wasn’t an impact player in any of the three markets. Then off to Drummondville where he finally finds a home and has a strong season. Hulton is really hoping for Radovoivjc to come over for the second half of the season, or into next year…and sounds like it’ll be worth the wait if it does happen

In today's gameday article in The Guardian, an update is provided on the situation involving our Euro players. Basically, we have to wait until Nov. 1 to move Luka Radivojevic to a reserve list and. This will result in us retaining his rights through this season with the possibility of bringing him here for the 25-26 season. Once this date passes, then we can see Goriunov activated and join the roster.
But then, of course, once Goriunov is part of the team, we have an extra 20 y/o and that situation would eventually need to be resolved.

Any updates on Logan Biser? Is he part of the team and set to make his debut anytime soon? Or did his injury happen at a very unfortunate time and cost him an opportunity to become a major junior player?

Although Sirman took his #27 haha

Some of our 2024 draft picks are off to strong starts to their seasons...
5th round selection Charles-Albert Pouliot is 14-15-29 in 18 games with Levis in the Quebec MAAA league. He leads his team in scoring and is second overall in league scoring.
6th round selection Rowan Walsh is 4-7-11 in 6 games with the Charlottetown Knights.
7th round selection Benedetto-Antonio Masi is 8-4-12 in 14 games with Montreal in the Quebec MAAA league. These totals lead his team in scoring.
12th round selection Will Clark is 12-9-21 in 13 games with Saint John in the NBPEI U18 league. This leads his team in scoring.
14th round selection Isaiah Rogerson is 4-9-13 in 11 games with Saint John in the NBPEI U18 league.
It would be great to have a couple of these guys establish themselves as QMJHL players even though they were later picks.
