No word on any more cuts/players leave? Should have some news soon. Yeah there were meetings with Jim after the game last night, Kayden Robitaille I believe was cut, he committed to Stanstead prep school anyways so there was no plan to play with the Isles this year. More news should be out today.

Thought Biser played well, great speed, energy and tenacious. Rodgerson has played well for a late round 16 year old. Russian kid played great on d. May have a little sandpaper to his game.

I liked Rogerson’s game, fast and strong. Excited to see what he could bring next year

I think that the annual CEGEP registration deadline is this Sunday. That is the day that French language education students (mostly 17 and 18 y/o players from Quebec) need to be enrolled in their fall programs. It is always a day when teams need to sign or release these players.
For us, that likely means we need to make a call on Valente, Dumas, and Rankin by then.
Also, I think the same date is the day a 19 y/o (and now this apply to all 18 y/o) need to be signed for the upcoming season. I think the only bubble player for us this applies to is Stumpf.
So we could see some additional roster movement this weekend.

He is one of those “non-Euro” Euro’s….they can be handy to have.
Could be a nice find.

With the new rule about 18 y/o’s having to go on waivers, I’m sure there will be somebody we could pick up that might be worth taking a gamble on.

No word on any more cuts/players leave? Should have some news soon. How could you ever replace Vos with a player who can’t skate as fast and just shovels the puck up the boards? I get that he is bigger but what does big mean when you don’t hit and have no bite?

I get that he is bigger but what does big mean when you don’t hit and have no bite? Are you referring to Hughes? Obviously you haven’t watched many games…there were many games in the second half last year that he was the only guy who looked like he gave a shit, throwing hits, driving to the net, etc. Or if you’re referring to Steen…well I don’t think he has much of a chance at staying here
