That would be preferred. And what did you hear (or read) was the reason ? Please paraphrase and don't quote anything directly. I read it was a family issue. ;D

That's good that he wants to return but unfortunate that his family is having trouble. I'm glad that it wasn't a snub as some have reported here. I hope he can return soon. Yandle Lite could be fun to watch grow.

i have him as a friend on facebook so i didnt think it was concidered personal information since its on his profile and anyone else who has him can read it(plus i was able to see his profile before adding him so that means his settings are public unless he changed them in the last 2 weeks). He just said he wants to come back but his parents wont let him.. He seems pretty bummed out about it..

If it is that his parents wont let him play.. then I think they owe the fans of the wildcats an explaination. not just hide behind it s a family issue.. take responsibility... who signed... whats the real reason...

They don't owe the fans an explanation. The tickets we buy gives us access to the games, not the player's private lives. If they wish the issue to remain private it is nobody's business but their own. The only person they owe an explanation to is Irving.
Next time you take a day off from work, make sure you notify us of the reason. You owe it to all the readers of the board.

I'm not going to work this Saturday... and I may or may not leave an hour early on Friday... just to explain where I am to prevent any board members from becoming offended by any unexplained absences on my part. I hope that clears the air a bit.

I am probably going to get ripped for this, but whatever..
I have had a conversation with Paul about his situation, & from what I've gotten from it is that there is NO family emergency at all. I could be wrong about this, but not once was a " family matter " brought into it, it was all about how his Father didn't want him in Moncton, his parents, more so his Father, wants him in NCAA. Why he couldn't decide this earlier, I don't know. I won't go into full details, but this is just what I make of it.

I am hoping that Flynn and Irving are still trying to convince his father to let him play....
