The Wildcats are 0-2 when I create the GDT but unlike Reesor and the rest of Moose country, I don't believe the original poster of a thread on the internet has an effect on what happens on the ice. It's do or die. Would be nice to see the Cats pull this one out so they don't get eliminated on home ice but if they do get eliminated on home ice I hope the crowd gives them a good ovation. This team has already overachieved and many many players should be on next year's team. There's no question the key to the game will be to play at least 60 minutes(more if there is OT). Put the pedal to the floor early. Finish your hits, keep your feet moving, etc. Dubeau will need a strong game and he will have to continue making those early key saves. I wish Lalonde would put his jersey on backwards tonight so that when he puts it on he sees that there is a C on the front of it. I'm sure he's a great vocal leader in the room and all but I'd like to see him lead by example a little bit more. Play hard. Play strong. Stop chirping. Go Cats Go!

"First of all, don't ever tag me in a post on the Cats board. You know I despise this place and I try to avoid it." (Pens threw that exact reply to me months ago for those that don't have a photographic memory) Hoping for a Cats win tonight to make the Armada sweat just a little bit. Also to prove once and for all that the originator of a GDT has no effect on the game itself. Can't wait to see this game go to a shootout when it's tied after the 1st OT. I think you guys need a new rink.

Yeah, they had a successful year no matter what happens tonight...but I sure would like to see them pull out one more win on home ice.
Donnelly needs to have a better game, honestly they might be better off going with 5 D than have him rap the puck off the boards and down the ice every time he touches it.
The fact nearly the entire team is returning next season bodes well...looking forward to Seegar, Bower, etc getting a full season in...and trying not to think about a summer of Tkachev "will he or won't he return" drama.

And yet, we won the Memorial Cup believing last year, didn`t we? Maybe you guys need to find your good luck thread creator, and everything will work out fine

Barring a minor miracle this will be the last home game of the season so it would be nice to end it with a win. It would just be really nice to see a full 60 minute effort more than anything. Also I wouldn't be opposed to this game going to 4 OT's just to screw over the city

Wonder if the Cats office will sell me a single period ticket....seeing how the team only plays for one period, why should one pay more?
Joking aside, they need to skate their a$$e$ off to keep up with that Armada team...I truly am just joking regarding the team only playing for one period. I think it has more to do with the more dominant team dictating the play.
Really hoping to stretch this series out just a little longer..
GO CATS GO!

When you see a struggling team like BLB come into Moncton and dominate them, it really makes you realize how weak the Maritime conference really was.

Much better start tonight. Keep it up. Win the last game at home.

Good game for you guys. The way this series has gone, Moncton has a legit shot at it.

Good game with a lot better effort. We set the tone early and hang on for the win.
I'm not usually one to make a comment toward officiating but they were absolutely horrendous. It's becoming a complete joke. The league really has to address this issue. I don't know what steps they can take but it has got to be explored. This was by far the worst game I've seen. It's on the level you'd expect at a house league pee wee game. Not even joking.

So how many games do we think Tesink will get for this nasty hit on Holwell?

So how many games do we think Tesink will get for this nasty hit on Holwell? If Caissie got 2 for his hit ... that was at least 2.

That was a bad hit......I wouldn't be upset with 5 or 6 games out of that....those boards are not forgiving at all and the players need to realize that.

That was an awful hit... no idea how you can do that to someone there. Should be sizeable suspension. That hit could have done serious head/neck damage (did it? No idea)

Plus Tesink got himself suspended in last year's playoffs too. I'd give him 5 but he'll probably get 2 with BLB getting a 6 round pick from SJ for not disclosing that he likes to hit from behind.
