No, nobody dodged anything. Just didn't want you to think I was coming off as sarcastic. I'm always curious to hear about how people look at this stuff as we all have different reasons and views for the kind of support we give. Having said that ....Where are the Big Dumont Fans at ? ......I know of at least 2 that post here somewhat regularly that think he is the Best Thing that has ever happened to this Organization .....but yet they choose to stay silent .....tell us why you think the way you do .....Hell , maybe there's something the rest of us are missing ! Too much fact out there to argue the opposite right now so I don't expect anyone to try and make an argument that would have so many holes in it.

Me Thinks .....Come Draft Night ........another Team will be making that pick at 4 . Agreed but it will likely be a team in the 5-8 range looking to grab a Tkachuk or Dubois or even a Chychrun or Sergachev. It's pretty wide open after 3...Edmonton would be stupid to not move down a bit...but that's never stopped them from picking when they should have traded down before... Yeah , I think someone who has a High Need / Desire for Defenceman is gonna try to move up and get Chycrun or one of those Highly Rated Euro Defencemen .

Edmonton wouldn't keep him around. If anything they're a team we should hope drafts him because it pretty much guarantees his return. What makes you think that?

There's zero information to indicate Chiarelli plans on rushing his 1st pick this year. Vancouver has been quoted as saying it's a possibility their 1st pick makes the team. The assumption based on past history is that anything beyond the top 1 or 2 picks likely won't stay in the NHL. Especially when the only info out there about Edmonton is their willingness to move down from 4.

I may take some heat on this but after Matthews and the two Finns Dubois may not be the next forward in line to be taken. Tkachuk and this Logan Brown kid that came somewhat from out of nowhere may get called before our boy P-L Dubois. I'm thinking after this Mem Cup is all said and done Tkachuk will be taken before Dubois

Please don't hold your breath while you are waiting . Coach Lifetime is just "starting" another cycle he says , so he is taking his good old time . DRINK COKE ! Coke sucks hal....and Pepsi sales have zero effect on this teams decision making. As usual your joke is old...and not at all funny.

Not a big kid but pretty skilled.

Pulliajarvi is a beast. He and Laine both have strong cases for #2, but it'll be Laine. Columbus is cashing in with that kid.

They had eleven players under the age of 25; eight of whom played at least 20 games. Two of their three oldest players - Pardy (32) and Ference (37) - played a combined 12 regular season games. The Oilers are an exceptionally young club. Dubois wouldn't be out of place there as an 18-year-old.

But then again.. it's the Oilers Peter Chiarelli has had one draft with the Oilers.. one he won the lottery to draft the best prospect in 10 years. Not really fair to judge him based on previous regime mistakes.
