I hope Biakabatuka isn't back next year. He was one of our worst players in the finals. Way too many stupid plays from him. We should've looked to another team for defence help. Biaka is fine. He’s been solid all year. Obviously not all the Islanders had a superb finals. Still wondering why Guay took the puck out of the zone …. Anyways. Is what it is. Woulda coulda shoulda.

I hope Biakabatuka isn't back next year. He was one of our worst players in the finals. Way too many stupid plays from him. We should've looked to another team for defence help. a few weeks ago everyone on here praised his play and how he was a good add and one of the best D-men on the team.... He may not have been great in the finals but I don't think you can truly say there was someone out there who you could've went out and got that would've been better than him. Keep in mind the D-men available this year were very very slim pickings and he was one of the best options available.

They lost the series as a team. They had their chances and didn't capitalize and they had too many defensive break downs. Franky wasn't great but he wasn't terrible. He was hung out to dry too many times.
Only silver lining on my end is that they didn't get to win at home.

Thanks to all the players for one unforgettable season.
Especially to the players that will be moving on.
To our 20's, Budgell, Simoneau and Laaouan.......thank you 3 for some incredible memories. Our best trio of 20's ever?
Budgell has been my favorite Islander.......and I feel that his #10 is a number that shouldn't be worn again.
Thanks to #51. One of, if not THE most talented player this franchise ever had. Next stop, finish the WJC then head to Vegas kid.
All these players put this team in the spotlight. A spotlight that this franchise has never seen before.
Thank you players and coaching staff for a season we the fans will not soon forget.

Jesus man give it up on Biakabatuka. Can you even skate like seriously the kid is giving it his all. Anyways it was a hell of. Season and a hell of a ride will be tough for a couple seasons as the rebuild will start but can’t wait to get to this position again.

Congratulations Jim & his staff and the ownership group and players on a great season! Sometimes regardless of work, talent, and focus and this group of players were not short on any of those elements! Without the element of luck you can come up short-What an event it was for Charlottetown--

It definitely won't be a 19 year wait again. Not while we have Hulton.

A Mooseheads fan here (I come in peace).
You guys had a great season. It sucks right now, but a lot to be proud of. Losing 3 games in OT is a kick in the stomach, knowing you came so close; a goal here, a save there, etc.
I'm not sure where you are in your build process; rebuild or have enough pieces to make another run next season. Anyway, this will be a season you won't soon forget.

It definitely won't be a 19 year wait again. Not while we have Hulton. Hulton will not be there forever. He is making a resume as a candidate for other positions at other levels. He certainly has given the organization a roadmap to success so the organization doesn't go backwards. Its only a matter of time - they all eventually move on - Tourigny, Grouxl, Ducharme especially when they have level head and a good judge of talent. The pros (again) and some university/college opportunities beckon. Edit: This QMJHL final is the farthest any of Hulton teams have achieved - he had never coached to a 4th round before. And his 6 years in PEI is longest he has been with any one organization

Congratulations to the Cataractes! Well deserved!!
We should not cry because it’s over….rather we should smile because it happened.
Thanks Islanders for a fantastic season. It was definitely one for the ages. We will remember this fantastic run for many, many years.
