I think it's a known fact that this is Hulton's last contract with the Isles before he moves back to Ontario, which was always his plan....when that time comes, if he is available I think that we will see Gerard Gallant behind the Isles bench.....again, that is if Gallant is available.

I'd be very ok with that. He's always been a coach to get fantastic results from young players. It's very strange that he can have all this success in the NHL and struggle to hold a job.

I know Hulton wouldn't be here forever, I just hope if it's not Gallant taking over, that we'll be in good hands. I trust that Jim would find the perfect person to take over when he leaves.

what about Billy McGuigan if Gallant isn’t available? That’s one coach who definitely deserves a shot in major Junior with all the success he’s had in Summerside.

what about Billy McGuigan if Gallant isn’t available? That’s one coach who definitely deserves a shot in major Junior with all the success he’s had in Summerside.

He has done a good job..also with Hockey Canada.....but I think he would be down on the list a bit.

Credit has to be giving to Pat McIver for the Caps success.

Big time… Billy was reportedly on the ropes here last season or the one before. Pat McIver sets up the Caps to be successful every year, I think anyone should be able to coach teams like that…and even at that, Billy hasn’t had a ton of success
