I think the Value is Good for sure i just dont see Moncton going all in until next season. That deal would be far from "going all in" lol. Mateiko will be back next year as one of the top euros in the league and Mann is eligible to return as well. Yea which means they won't half ass it this year and will wait until next to pay less. And giving a 1st 2nd and third and a player for something is an all in move |

Mann and Mateiko for Zielinski , 1st , 2nd + 3rd ? I wouldn’t be a fan of this trade - Moncton would also have to move Mueller, Auger or both for it to make sense in my mind. I don’t mind adding Mateiko - I think it could be a good idea for next year - but Moncton already has too many guys fighting for top 9 spots this year so you’d have to move someone. Auger / Mueller would be the obvious choices because you’re essentially committing to keeping Mann as a 20 in this case. I’d also argue that you want to open a spot now (outside of this trade scenario) so a guy like Carrier can have a bigger role the rest of the year. I’m also not a big fan of Mann. Also, we have to factor in what is coming as part of the Halifax trade. Is Moncton getting MacKinnon back? I think that reduces the need for Mann. |

I get the speculation that Moncton would return some or all of the picks received for one player, but hadn’t heard about potentially sending a second first back for a second player. |

The probable top 9 would be. Loshing-Desnoyers-Mercier Collard-Vidicek-Lounsbury Smith-Sumpf-Carrier Carrier replaces auger on that line and vidicek replaces muller |
