Hearing that Gravel has been informed he’s being dealt at Christmas to a contender , is that why he’s not wearing seadogs Equipment still ? What others do we expect to go ? You gotta think a d man or 2 will be going for sure

I was at a practice and he was wearing sea dog gear so seemingly just working them in before using them in a game

You gotta think a d man or 2 will be going for sure Wonder if this means they got word one of their NCAA committed goaltending prospects is looking to join the team now that the rules are changing? I noticed Kyan Labbe is struggling in the BCHL with a .889 sv% and 4.33 gaa so far

I would be surprised if they trade him but if they do it should be a solid return. As for D being traded I don’t know if Tivey will be moved he looked great at start but looks tired now. A fresh start and not playing 1/2 a game might help that. Do you seeing them getting anything for Mann or Bilodeau?

I see islanders have a kid signed who was keeping his NCAA eligibility. Hopefully Travis worked on getting someone to head north.

Hearing that Gravel has been informed he’s being dealt at Christmas to a contender , is that why he’s not wearing seadogs Equipment still ? What others do we expect to go ? You gotta think a d man or 2 will be going for sure The reason for Gravel not wearing Sea Dogs' colored gear is purely because he prefers to wear equipment that is broken in and feels comfortable while playing. New gear can take a while to get used to, especially goalie gloves and pads, as they need time to mold to their style and needs. He is trying to break them in practice currently. As for the rumors of him being dealt to a contender, it's important to note that most of the top contenders already have their number one goalies and likely wouldn't need Gravel. (if you look at the current stats you will see they have much better goalies than him) The only possible exception could be Chicoutimi. However, teams like this don't have much to offer in return, so any trade would likely involve low draft picks, maybe third or fourth rounders. Given that Gravel is a 20-year-old, it's unlikely that contenders would be eager to part with valuable picks for a short-term solution as many of the contenders want to keep their current 20's. So, I don't think there's much merit to the idea that Gravel will be traded to a contender at Christmas. Traded possibly, to a top contender, highly unlikely.

Rimouski says ‘hello!’! what would Rimouski have to offer? possibly their rookie Goalie William Lacelle? I think they unloaded the tank with Cataford for draft picks.

Some solid 18yr olds like Quinn Kennedy, Dominic Pilote, Spencer Gill that they'll likely use to pay for some additions (at the draft). Don't know if Gravel would fetch any of those guys, but Rimouski does have assets if they wanted to They also have the 2025 Moncton 1st that SJ traded them at the draft too

Ruccia got a 2nd rd pick i get that hes a uero but i expect gravel to bring in the same.
