Just watched the 1st period of the afternoon game, team white was all over blue. Big 14 Pisanoi or w.e his name is, whiped finlay all over center...I was hoping to see Gallant fight him, 14 is clearly the 2nd toughest guy out there as of right now.
The Blue goalie got beat on all the penalty shots, however they were all nice moves.

I deleted my thread just for you insidescoop ;D
Well once again I get to see the first period but the thread has been started anyway
A few observations for the first period anyway:
- 7-0 after the first period.
- Nathan Dunnett clearly is not a fan of the shootout
- Matthew Dopud looked good although not really tested alot but had position when called upon.
- LeDuc nice goal (Breakaway / Penalty )
- Francis Charland - Nice to see him back out on the ice
- Daryl Dillman won his fight over Justin Finley although it took 2 seconds to pull Finley's jersey over his head.
- Tony Resendes - He's 20? To bad cuz I know he's small but this guy is everywhere he never stops all 5ft nothing of him. He just goes non-stop looked good though.
- Riley Lewis - Nice B/P shot goal
- Phillip Richer - ditto
- JC Sawyer had the 4th B/P goal of the period not that it matters
For team Blue I was most impressed with Michael Kirkpatrick, Mike Thomas, and Payton Liske oh and Gallant had a nice rush too.
Can't wait to see them play another team this weekend!!!

I guess i got who finlay fought wrong, although he was giving up major size and reach to the guy. Who is this Dillman lad, I didn't get a handout and only knew Gallant, Langan, Cormier, Finlay, Grant, and a couple others... What is the story on the kid with the red bucket, made a nice stretch pass, should some good wheels. I know Gallant doesn't have anything to prove but he loves to fight, and you have to wonder if watching someone tune a guy doesn't get his blood rushing.

I posted the roster on in another thread if you like just paste it in a word doc and print it off

Forgot to mention Resendes made an awesome stretch pass to Pard who scored on the breakaway not a penalty shot this time though so make that 5 goals out of the 7 given up were breakaway goals on Dunnett.

Thanks, I'll print one of those off... How did you think Finlay looked before he stepped into center ice? I thought he had a few good shifts, of hitting everything that moved and he looked like he could keep pace. After the fight he looked a little wobbly...

Finley works his ass off every shift but I don't see him making this team as much as we'd like to have some local talent make this team I just don't see it happening this year. Maybe Leask ole boy would like to comment on Dillman? ;D

Its sad to see F. Charland got injuried again this afteroon, is this kid injury prone or what?? It might be safe if they start the season with four 20's on the roster. I know that Resendes has to be pushing the other 20's for a roster spot because he's been the most noteable 20 year old out there next to Charland, he's just flies out there.
