Don't know if it is too early for this, but I thought it would be interesting for everyone's early opinion on the Moose roster and lines. Thanks for you input.

Anyways I totally agree with the goalie and Dee pairings but your forwards need some tweeing. Here's how I think it will go. Desjardins- Andrews- Ashley Grant- Bety- Gelinas Lemieux- Boudreau- Randell Ciampini- Turbide- MacDonald Ryan- Davis I have to add I love Desjardins, Andrews, and Ashley line they are playing well together and seem to always make something happen. Also have to say the second line will change big time once bobby opens the checkbook to get Frk over here.

I find it very hard to believe that they would put Ciampini on the 4th line to start the season. If he can't play on one of the top 3 lines then he should probably go back to Midget. I do not believe this. I suspect he will play with Frk and Grant if Frk makes it to Halifax, if the Ashley-Andrews-Desjardins line stays intact.

Hes not going to start any higher then maybe 3rd line duties. Hes not really that good yet. there not going to give him 2nd line or better just because hes 2nd over all pick. He might get second teir power play thou. Name the last 16 year old on the Mooseheads to play any higher then 3rd line play? I'll give you the answer maybe Drapeau. Other that not one 16 year old started the year 2nd line or better. BYy Christmas time he might be moved up. Just wait and see he will be 3rd or 4th line more then likely 4th.

Want to correct myself for my post earlier I think Sheppard and Sunlier might have been 2nd line the rookie year but that was the first year of the moose cape trade. They had nothing left on the team besides Vrana and Sharrow. But I still think they start the year as 3rd liners.

I see everyone saying Corbeil and Terenzio and I agree but what happens to Delmas?
I know he can still be dealt but is anybody hearing anything? ... I can't see this dragging out to long because Delmas should be playing and I'm sure the Moose will try to accomidate him.

Surprised to see everyone with Randall on the third line or worst. On a contender, he`s an ideal 3rd liner. But he was one of our top 3 scorers last year logging a ton of shutdown icetime too. I can`t see him dropping below the 2nd line. Surely he would be ahead of Bety and maybe even Grant in terms of scoring line potential. I cant really comment on lines as of yet (havent seen them) but I would think Randall would be in the mix on the top 2 lines.
I dont think you will see all of Ashley, Andrews, Ciampini getting top 2 line ice, at least not until later in the year if they prove they can handle it.

Perhaps Delmas plays minor pro knowing there is no spot for him right now on Halifax or elsewhere in the Q

I can't see this dragging out to long because Delmas should be playing and I'm sure the Moose will try to accomidate him. Using the process of elimination its fairly easy to come up with where Delmas could go... Moncton - nope...they have Owen Bathurst - nope...they have Roy PEI - nope...they have Mosher Chicoutimi - nope...they have Gusse/Gibson/Desrosiers Baie-Comeau - nope...they have Dunnett Quebec - nope...cant go back to Quebec Victoriaville - nope...they have Mastro/Whitney/Honzik Shawinigan - nope...they have Girard...and their 20's are better Gatineau - nope...they have Clermont Rouyn-Noranda - nope...they have Audette/Noonan Val-d'Or - nope...they have Gervais-Chouinard/Saaf/Tremblay Lewiston - nope...cant go back to Lewy Montreal - nope...they have Berube That leaves tjhese 4 teams in order of likely destination: Rimouski, they have Tremblay and Hozjan...i am not that high on either, and Rimouski's 20's are Struthers and Lefrancois, could be a nice fit, especially where Rimouski has a pretty nice team this year. Saint John, they have KSL and Piche right now and their 20's are kind of cloudy. Could be room in their for Delmas if they want to sacrifice Morin, which Im not sure they would. But adding Delmas would be a huge improvement on what they have. Cape Breton, they are going with Veronneau and Lacerte. Not sure who CB is going with as 20's...but looking at the group they have Delmas may not be a bad option, although Delmas would need to play 45-50 games and I dont think they want to have Veronneau on the bench. Drummondville, they have Nadeau who is no more than a #2 and they have 2 younger kids (Boucher and Graham). Their 20's are Blanchard, Vachon and Randazzo...outside chance Dumont comes back, so in other words, they seem like a team who could use Delmas but their trio of 20's are rather good.

I agree with Ciampini but Andrews and Ashley have been together with Desjardins in the preseason games and intersquad games and they are meshing really well together. I think you'll see them together on the 2nd line. I myself think they can put some numbers up as a line. The sad thing is they might be the first line. We don't have a first line center other then Andrews. And as for Randall it's a numbers game. Grant and Betty will likely be together and Carl is playing to good to drop any further then 2nd line. So that levels Randall playing with Boudearu and Lemieux.
