Watching Drouin was crazy tonite. I kinda get annoyed when he was sitting during the 4 minute high sticking power play. I wanted him out for all 4 minutes to try for 2 goals. Guess I am just gready. Not sure I would want to be an NHL GM this draft as MacKinnon, Drouin, and Jones cant all go first. I would say the guy with the 3rd pick is the luckiest as whatever he gets was bascially chose for him. Saves from kicking yourself in the butt for years later.

TSN Liked it. video.tsn.ca/?dl=main/latest/1/0/871789/clip/200The dangles were great. But I loved how he went back and bodied Lalancette off the puck. Shows skill and hard work. If our most skilled guys can be our hardest working, we're in good shape.

Shocking is that the Moose, with 2 games in hand, have a whopping 57 goal lead over ValDor who have scored the second most goals this year...[/quote]
Holy crap. Didn't think it was that huge of a difference. Val D.or would have to average 7+ goals a game in their last 8 and have the Moose not score any to pass them. Haven't seen anything like that since the Oilers of the 80's

If the moose keep up the 5 goal a game pace they'll score 350 this year which I don't think has been done in about 20 years.

Two more assists for Ciampini. He is quietly having a nice Season. It seems like he was crapped on a lot here. Lots of folks saying we should have drafted Charles Hudon. Although Hudon has better numbers, Ciampini's aren't too bad.

It started out like Bathurst wanted to compete, in the first but we pretty much hemmed them in their own zone beautiful goal by Jo to get things rolling and then another , but we did give up one late we have to stop doing that. Second what can I say it was all Halifax, we did most of the scoring other than one their at the end by Bathurst to make it 6-2 but the game was pretty much out of their reach. Bathurst is good offensively but terrible defensively, and give up far too many rebounds I think we scored 3 or more of rebounds. Third we just would not take our foot of the pedal and kept on scoring; and the only positive for Bathurst was the O'Brien goal. Great game by Zach, he made some key saves when we needed him too. That Drouin assist on Fournier's goal was sick he just trumped himself today. So proud of the boys now lets go on that four game trip and get some more points. (If Nate is sitting out the Quebec trip with home ice locked up throughout the playoffs; it may not be a bad idea to sit Jo out to get some rest too; but hey I'm not complaining if Dom doesn't and maybe Nate will go to the game in Bathurst March 6)

And he's shown some improved ability in that regard, what with 43 assists.

Clearly Hudon should have been the pick. Luca is a product of this very good team in my opinion, Boudreau and Ashleys play has consistently been superior to his.

Yeah fine, Hudon is the better player, I'll give ya that but Ciampini's play has improved immensely from last year to this year. He is no longer the bust that a lot of us, including me, feared he was going to be.

Hudon is the better player, but Ciampini definitely isn't a "Bust" at the 2nd overall pick. His board play is fantastic. He's been getting goals from farther away than 2 ft in front of the crease lately. Hopefully he has improved enough to have more of an impact in the playoffs this year. He's still quite streaky. Would like to see a little more consistency from that whole line. That Drouin Video has 64000+ views in 15 hours.

Funny, Frk had 4 points, and was a -2! Drouin was -1 with 4 pts.

Lalancette, as they would say in basketball clips, got "posterized" a few times by Drouin there. The John Moore video, not promoted by TSN, has 8,000 views. Crazy!

Ciampini, Boudreau, and to a lesser extent Ashley have all been streaky this year, let's just hope they're all on a hot streak come playoffs because any team they play will be attempting to put the clamps on the first line and they'll need production from the second line.

From a Moosehead perspective Ciampini has improved more than Hudon since they started in the Q and it is not a reach to say at this rate Ciampini maybe the better pick long term. Could get more years from him with a monster 20yr old season.

All I can say about the Drouin Goal I just watched on TSN..................is DAMMMMNNNN that was awesome . He apparently wants to play "only" for the Habs so I can't wait to see him with Galchenyuk . That pretty much assures us a #1 Line for 10 years .
