So....by my recordkeeping, here's who should be left in camp from the rookie camp:
Jonah Jelley Sam Archibald Matis Ouellet Michael Horth Alex Graham Jarrett Todd Sam Bowness
Mathis Aguilar Isaac Vos Beran Simard-Sancy Matt McQuaid Anton Topolnyckyj
Jacob Leblanc
These players should be joined by the returning veterans on Sunday. I'm not sure how many of our 20 y/o players will be in camp. Sean Stewart played last night so it stands to reason that Beauregard and Peach should be in camp as well as the team makes its final call on who will be the 20 y/o players (expected to be Simoneau, Laaouan, Budgell).

From what I’ve seen and that isn’t much just the 2 games on YouTube.. I feel Horth and Jelley will be on the opening night roster for sure

Haven't seen any of the games but it sure looks like Horth has been impressive so far.

Without taking the time to figure out how many roster spots are open, I feel like the top choices to earn a forward spot are: Oulette, Horth, Archibald and Jelley…in that order. Like switchback, I’ve only watched the two YouTube games.

Brett Arsenault cut yesterday, but part of main camp roster.... perhaps they'll keep him around and get some additional ice time, since he is a local guy, with the plan that he is back to the Knights for his 16 y/o season.

Only watched the games on the web,, but based on last year's squad it isn't an easy line-up to crack! Whoever makes it from the rookie camp will have to bring something special! There were a number that looked pretty good playing the Eagles

Topolnyckyj not listed on the main camp roster, but doesn’t list him as one of the previous cuts. I assume it’s just an oversight, and he’s still in camp.
I expect both him and Aguilar to push for spots on the roster for defenceman.

Goalies are questionable just because of the uncertainty of Satny but he could come in and dominate or Goobie could steal the spot and be a above average goalie put D core should be the best in the league especially the top 4 but I’m not convinced our forward group will be deep enough to be a contender.. was hoping they’d add a depth forward or 2 before the summer deadline. It will be a fun year in this division and hopefully we’re right there at Xmas and are able to add what we need. Can’t wait to see the final roster and get things going also hope the attendance is going to be more than just ticket holders.

The obvious answer is Desnoyers at Christmas for Plandowski as a future (and another 1st, but those are semantics... ). Problem solved. I see Charlottetown as slightly behind Saint John and Bathurst on paper. But I also see them as Charlottetown... a team that constantly gets every last drop out of their players and constantly surprises. I wouldn't be surprised if the Isles are right up there with the Dogs and Titan at Christmas. The other two franchises though have shown that they will completely bottom out if it means going for a championship. While Charlottetown has bought before, they haven't really gone all in, and sold off their future. Good in that there's never a horrible season as a result. But it will be interesting to see if they keep up with the arms race at the trade deadline.
