Simoneau seems to be having a really strong camp for the Habs. Lots of talk that he could be heading for Laval. Also Budgells name has been mentioned a lot when people talk about the Growlers who is a maple leafs affiliated franchise in Budgells home province. Hopefully both are back with the Islanders this year.

Always a concern with 20 y/o's.... especially good ones. We won't know for sure what's going on until they are sent back to us. There's always a possibility they end up in the pros.

Gotta feel for Bailey Peach as well.. he has actually looked great so far (as he should in rookie games), but he’s basically just waiting to be cut/traded.
Gotta be tough on the kid…hopefully they have a landing spot for him arranged, if the other three all make it back

Peach has played well, but is in a tough spot. Hopefully when everything is sorted out we're able to make a deal so he gets a spot to play his 20 y/o season.
The Q is the right spot for him. He's much too good for Jr. A and it would be a tough road for him to head to the ECHL as a 20 y/o rookie on a tryout.

19 y/o's are expensive at the trade deadline
20 y/o's are generally cheap (notwithstanding our team paying premiums to acquire the likes of Simoneau and Ellis).
Part of the difference between 1.35 vs. 0.40 is the insurance Peach provides in case Budgell and/or Simoneau aren't back.
We could have gotten a better return trading him in the summer, but he's an immediate plug and play option until we have our 20's set. I know we are not ripe with assets to be managing the 20 slots this way.... but at least I follow the logic in the decisions being made.

What’s the deal with tickets? They announced single game tickets will be available but does anyone no how many they are releasing?

Boyd - CLB Brabenec - VGK - returned Budgell - TOR - returned Simoneau - MON - returned Cormier - VGK Laaouan - ARZ - returned Plandowski - DET - returned Trudeau - MON - returned Satny - BUF - returned

Simoneau cut from Montreal’s camp. I assume he goes to Laval’s camp?
I guess we’ll have to wait until the Habs post a press release.

The Montreal Canadiens have sent Joshua Roy, Xavier Simoneau, and Joe Vrbetic back to junior after the team’s scrimmage on Sunday. LinkPlandowski on his way back..... Link

Brabanec reassigned to the Isles as well. Boyd and Cormier are the only ones still with NHL camps.
